Formula 1: 2026 season to end in Europe if Qatar and Abu Dhabi unable to host final rounds because of Middle East conflict
Formula 1 president Stefano Domenicali has confirmed that the 2026 F1 season will conclude in Europe if the final two rounds in Qatar and Abu Dhabi cannot be held due to ongoing Middle East conflict. F1 has set a mid-September deadline to determine whether those races can proceed as planned. Earlier in the season, April races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were cancelled, and the Bahrain Grand Prix has been relocated to Malaysia in October.
