Formula 1 Confirms 35% Carbon Cut As Net Zero 2030 Target Stays On Track
Formula 1 has confirmed a 35% reduction in its carbon footprint against its 2018 baseline, according to its latest Impact Report published on 17 June 2026. Nearly 80,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent have been removed from operations over the past eight years, with travel emissions down more than 21,000 tCO2e and factory and facility emissions reduced by over 37,000 tCO2e. F1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali stated the progress has been achieved while the championship continued to grow, keeping the Net Zero 2030 target on track.
