Formula 1: F1 boss Stefano Domenicali reveals hope to restore cancelled Middle East race to 2026 calendar

F1 president Stefano Domenicali has expressed hope that one of the two Middle East races cancelled earlier in the 2025 season could be restored to the 2026 calendar. The races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, both originally scheduled for April, were cancelled due to conflict in the Middle East with no initial prospect of rescheduling. Domenicali also expressed confidence that the planned races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi will go ahead as scheduled.
