Formula 1 monitoring Middle East situation as WEC decision looms - RACER
Formula 1 is closely monitoring the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has already led to the postponement of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia races in April 2025. The most viable reinstatement date for one of those races is the first weekend of October, which would create a triple header with Azerbaijan and Singapore, but a final decision must be made before F1's August shutdown. Further uncertainty surrounds the season-ending Qatar (November 29) and Abu Dhabi (December 6) events, while the World Endurance Championship is also considering moving its planned Middle East races to Europe.
