Formula 1 News: 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Preview

The 2026 Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix takes place at Silverstone this weekend as Round 9 of the season, marking the 77th edition of the British Grand Prix and the 60th time it has been held at the Northamptonshire circuit. Pirelli serves as title sponsor for the first time this year, and will also lend its name to the Italian Grand Prix — the only two races held uninterrupted every year since the F1 World Championship began in 1950. The 5.891 km circuit features 18 corners and generates lateral accelerations exceeding 5g in its high-speed sections.
