The Canadian Grand Prix returns as Round 5 of the 2026 Formula 1 season, making it the second North American race on the calendar after Miami. Held at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Île Notre-Dame in Montreal, the 4.361 km track was renamed in honor of Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve following his death in 1982.
