His statement follows the cancellation of the 2026 Qatar 1812km World Endurance Championship race, which had initially been postponed before being scrapped entirely. While Al Mannai emphasized Qatar's track record of safely hosting major international sporting events and confirmed full airport operations, he stopped short of offering an absolute guarantee that the F1 race would not be affected by unpredictable regional developments.
