Formula 1 News: Ferrari ties down Leclerc for just two more years
Charles Leclerc has signed a contract extension with Ferrari, announced on Wednesday, with the deal believed to run through 2027 and 2028 and options potentially extending to 2030. The financial terms were not officially disclosed, but French outlet Sportune reports the total package including options could be worth 184 million euros. If the full arrangement is exercised, Ferrari's combined driver salaries with Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton would reportedly exceed 100 million euros per season, making it the highest-paid driver lineup in Formula 1.
