Formula 1 News: Hockenheim, Domenicali, open door to German GP return

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has confirmed that initial talks have taken place with Hockenheim about a possible long-term return of the German Grand Prix to the F1 calendar. Germany last hosted F1 at the Nurburgring in 2020 as a pandemic replacement, with the last official German GP held at Hockenheim in 2019. Hockenheim is currently undergoing a major redevelopment involving a proposed €250 million investment, though the circuit's managing director Jorn Teske cautioned that a deal is not imminent.
