Formula 1 races to be 15 kilometres shorter from 2027 after FIA agrees reduction

The FIA has agreed to reduce Formula 1 race distances by 15 kilometres starting from the 2027 season. This change will result in races being approximately two to three laps shorter than the current format. The reduction was formally approved by the FIA governing body ahead of the new regulations cycle beginning in 2027.
