Formula 1® returns to Türkiye’s Istanbul Park from 2027 as part of new five-year agreement

Formula 1 has announced that the Turkish Grand Prix will return to Istanbul Park from 2027 under a new five-year agreement, marking the race's comeback after its last editions in 2020 and 2021. Istanbul Park, a 5.33-kilometre circuit known for its technically demanding layout including the iconic multi-apex Turn 8, has hosted nine Grands Prix since joining the calendar in 2005. The announcement highlights Turkey's growing F1 fanbase of over 19 million, with the circuit having previously seen victories from drivers such as Felipe Massa, Lewis Hamilton, and Valtteri Bottas.
