Formula 1 returns to Turkey from 2027 on 5-year contract

Formula 1 has confirmed the return of the Turkish Grand Prix to its calendar starting in 2027, under an initial five-year agreement. The announcement was made by the Turkish government and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday, and subsequently confirmed by F1 and its governing body. The race will be held at Istanbul Park, which last hosted a Grand Prix in 2021.
