Formula 1 returns to Turkey from 2027 on 5-year contract

Formula 1 has confirmed the Turkish Grand Prix will return to the calendar in 2027 for the first time since 2021, under a five-year agreement. The deal was initially announced by the Turkish government and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan before being confirmed by F1 and its governing body. The race will be held at the Intercity Istanbul Park circuit.
