Formula 1 Signs 10-Year Agreement to Bring the African Grand Prix to Rwanda

Formula 1 has signed a 10-year agreement to bring the African Grand Prix to Rwanda, marking the sport's return to the African continent for the first time since 1993. The race, officially titled the F1 African Grand Prix presented by Visit Rwanda, will be held at a purpose-built FIA Grade 1 circuit in Bugesera, located near the new Kigali International Airport. The event is scheduled to join the F1 calendar in the early 2030s.
