Formula One signs £1BILLION deal to keep sport on Sky until 2034 - and steer clear of the US streaming model
Formula One has signed a £1 billion broadcasting deal with Sky to keep the sport on the platform until 2034, extending beyond their existing contract which ran until 2029. Both parties opted for this long-term arrangement rather than pursuing a US-style streaming model, such as the deal Formula One has with Apple in America. The agreement secures Sky's exclusive rights to broadcast F1 in the UK for an additional five years.
