Fornaroli set for Hungary FP1 run as McLaren bring updates

McLaren have confirmed that 21-year-old Italian driver Leonardo Fornaroli will participate in FP1 at the Hungarian Grand Prix, replacing Oscar Piastri for the opening 60-minute session at the Hungaroring. This will be Fornaroli's second F1 practice appearance, following his debut in Barcelona last month where he drove Lando Norris's car. The team will also introduce a package of upgrades on the MCL40 during the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.
