Fran Jones out of French Open after fightback against Marie Bouzkova falls short

British tennis player Fran Jones was eliminated from the French Open in the second round, losing 6-0, 7-6 (3) to Czech 27th seed Marie Bouzkova. Despite a dismal start that saw her lose the first set 6-0 and fall to 1-4 in the second, Jones staged a fightback and pushed the second set to a tie-break before losing it 7-3. The defeat ended what was described as a memorable first main draw appearance for Jones at Roland Garros.
