France XV v England: Benhard Janse van Rensburg backed for first run-out

Benhard Janse van Rensburg, a 29-year-old South Africa-born centre, has been named on the bench for England's non-cap fixture against a France XV in Vannes on Friday. Having moved to England in 2021 from Japanese side NEC Green Rockets to join London Irish, he will become eligible to play Test rugby for England in July after completing five years in the country, following a successful RFU appeal to World Rugby. England fly-half George Ford has praised Janse van Rensburg's enthusiasm and energy with the squad.
