Franco Colapinto Earns Another F1 Season with Alpine

Alpine has confirmed that Franco Colapinto will remain with the team for the 2027 Formula 1 season, partnering Pierre Gasly, who is contracted through 2028. The Argentine driver, who failed to score a point in 2025, has rebounded strongly in 2026, earning points in six of 12 races to sit 12th in the championship with 19 points. Team boss Flavio Briatore highlighted Colapinto's growth this season, citing standout performances in Miami and Montreal.
