Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum's Rahiebb, trained by Roger Varian and sired by Frankel, claimed his first black-type victory in the G2 Boodles Yorkshire Cup over 14 furlongs at York on Friday. The 4-1 chance overcame a mid-race drop to fourth place before sweeping to the front inside the final quarter-mile to win decisively. The result books Rahiebb's place in next month's G1 Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.
