Fred Warner de-escalates fiery, fight-filled 49ers-Titans joint practice

During a joint practice between the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans in Santa Clara on Tuesday, three fights broke out within the first six plays, with 49ers defenders Upton Stout and Tatum Bethune among the most aggressive participants. All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner stepped in to calm his teammates, gathering the defense and warning them they needed to focus on playing football rather than fighting. Head coach Kyle Shanahan was on a separate field with the offense and said he only had second-hand knowledge of the altercations.
