Free-agent QB Russell Wilson weighing contract offer from Jets, opportunity as TV analyst
Free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson revealed to the New York Post that he has received a contract offer from the New York Jets following a recent visit, but is weighing that option against a potential career in television analysis. Wilson spent the 2025 season with the New York Giants, starting three games and posting career-low numbers of 831 yards and three touchdowns before being replaced by rookie Jaxson Dart. If he joins the Jets, he would serve as a backup to starter Geno Smith, who previously played behind Wilson for three seasons in Seattle.
