Freese, USMNT advance to Round of 16 with win over Bosnia and Herzegovina

Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Matt Freese started in goal as the USMNT defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 on Wednesday night. The victory marked the United States' first knockout-round win at the World Cup since June 17, 2002, when they also beat Mexico 2-0 in the Round of 16. The USMNT will next face Belgium in the Round of 16 on Monday, July 6, at 8 p.m. ET.
