French Open 2026: Emma Raducanu's first-round defeat not unexpected

Emma Raducanu suffered a 6-0 7-6 (7-4) first-round defeat at the 2026 French Open against Argentina's Solana Sierra at Roland Garros. It marks only the third time in her career that Raducanu, the British number one, has lost in the first round of a Grand Slam.
