French Open: Player protest over pay to end as tournament begins

Top tennis players will cease their protest over prize money distribution when the French Open begins at Roland Garros on Sunday. During Friday's pre-tournament media day, many top-10 players limited their media appearances to just 15 minutes, symbolizing the approximately 15% of revenue that Grand Slams allocate to prize money. Player representatives had been pushing for a greater share of tournament revenues from the Grand Slams.
