French tennis player sees match-fixing ban extended to three years after appeal

French tennis player Samuel Bensoussan had his match-fixing ban extended to three years after he appealed his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Rather than reducing his punishment, the appeal process resulted in a longer ban than he originally received. The decision was handed down by CAS following a review of the match-fixing charges against Bensoussan.
