Fritz ends title drought in Washington, beats Jodar

Taylor Fritz won the Mubadala DC Open in Washington, defeating 19-year-old Spanish teenager Rafael Jodar 7-6(2), 6-4 in the final to claim his first title of 2026. The victory ended a frustrating run for the American world No. 10, who had lost his three previous finals this season in Dallas, Halle, and Tokyo.
