From dream to reality: USMNT’s next generation ready to host World Cup

The U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) is preparing to compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil, twelve years after their memorable run in the 2014 Brazil tournament. Goalkeeper Matt Turner, who was a college student during that 2014 campaign, is among the players set to participate as the host nation. The team held an opening training session at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine, California on June 8, 2026.
