Fury eyes another fight before facing Joshua

Tyson Fury is seeking an additional fight before his scheduled 2026 bout against Anthony Joshua, with promoter Frank Warren confirming on Thursday that Fury is likely to take an interim fight. Fury (35-2-1) most recently defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11, returning from retirement, while Joshua (29-4) is set to face Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Despite previously urging Joshua not to risk their planned clash by fighting others, Fury himself is now pursuing his own interim bout before the two meet.
