Game Preview: Wild at Oilers

The Minnesota Wild face the Edmonton Oilers on October 20, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. CT in a Western Conference matchup. Kirill Kaprizov enters the game as the NHL's only player with double-digit goals (10) and a six-game point streak, while Connor McDavid leads the league with 23 points and has scored in eight consecutive games. Minnesota holds a dominant 14-4-0 record against Edmonton since 2019-20, the best mark by any NHL team against the Oilers over that span.
