Gauthier signs six-year contract with Ducks

Cutter Gauthier, 22, has signed a six-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks, though financial terms were not disclosed. The restricted free agent forward led the team last season with 41 goals, 28 assists, and 69 points in 76 games, also contributing 12 points in 12 Stanley Cup Playoff games as Anaheim made their first playoff appearance since 2017-18. General manager Pat Verbeek praised Gauthier as a key part of the team's young core and a pure goal-scoring talent.
