GB & NI team named for World U20 Champs

UK Athletics has confirmed a 49-strong Great Britain and Northern Ireland squad for the World Athletics Under-20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, next month. The full team was completed with 13 additional selections beyond the 36 names announced earlier, including relay specialists such as Divine Iheme, who recently won the European U18 men's 100m title in Rieti breaking the championship record, and Matthew Ajayi and Ethan Franklin, members of a 4x100m relay quartet currently holding the world U20-leading ranking. Lucas Cameron and Noa Chodokufa were also added to the 4x400m relay squad following strong performances at the European U18 Championships.
