GB Paralympic icon Sarah Storey retires after making LA 2028 decision

British Paralympic cycling legend Sarah Storey has announced her retirement from competitive sport, ruling out participation at the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympic Games. Storey ends her career as Great Britain's most decorated Paralympian, having won 19 Paralympic gold medals across her career. Her first gold medal came at the 1992 Barcelona Paralympic Games, making her career span over three decades at the highest level.
