GB Snowsport blocked from Olympic programme amid governance review

UK Sport has withdrawn all funding from GB Snowsport for the next Olympic cycle after commissioning an independent governance review into the organisation, which has lost its second chair in three years. The decision comes just six months after Team GB achieved their most successful Winter Olympics at Milano-Cortina 2026. Ironically, the withdrawal coincides with UK Sport confirming a record £33 million in funding for British winter sport and parasport athletes ahead of the Alpes 2030 Games.
