GB's Kerr caps stellar year with 1500m triumph

Scottish runner Josh Kerr won the 1500m at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championships in Budapest, finishing in 3 minutes 29.35 seconds and beating Australian Cameron Myers in the home straight. The victory added to an already impressive year for Kerr, which included setting a new mile world record in July and claiming world indoor 3000m and Commonwealth mile titles. The win earned Kerr $150,000 in prize money.
