Georgia, West Virginia survive elimination to advance to MCWS semifinals

Georgia and West Virginia both won their elimination games on June 16, 2026, at the Men's College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, advancing to the MCWS semifinals. The games were played at Charles Schwab Field as part of the Division I Baseball Championship running June 12–22, 2026. In a separate elimination game, Texas's Adrian Rodriguez hit for the cycle and drove in seven runs to lead the Longhorns to victory.
