Georgia’s Carter Loflin files lawsuit against NCAA, seeking fifth year of eligibility
University of Georgia golfer Carter Loflin has filed a lawsuit against the NCAA seeking a fifth year of athletic eligibility. Loflin, who competed for four seasons at Georgia and is still enrolled completing his undergraduate degree, is requesting a temporary restraining order. The legal action follows an NCAA ruling that athletes from the high school graduating class of 2022 are ineligible for its new 5-in-5 eligibility model.
