Getzlaf to have No. 15 retired by Ducks this season

The Anaheim Ducks will retire Ryan Getzlaf's No. 15 jersey on January 30 in a game against the Nashville Predators, team owners Henry and Susan Samueli announced Tuesday. Getzlaf, 41, played 17 seasons as a center for Anaheim, including 12 as captain, before retiring after the 2021-22 season. He is the franchise's all-time leader in games played (1,157), points (1,019), and assists (737), and also holds multiple Stanley Cup Playoff records with the team.
