Giro d'Italia: Jonas Vingegaard claims impressive stage seven win

Jonas Vingegaard won stage seven of the Giro d'Italia with a solo breakaway on the Blockhaus climb, attacking with 5.5km to go on a 13.6km ascent featuring gradients of up to 14%. The victory, his first significant move of the race on his Giro debut, completed his set of Grand Tour stage victories. Vingegaard is now aiming to become the eighth rider to win all three Grand Tours overall.
