Gleason takes Stanley Cup to Michigan to help inspire youth
Carolina Hurricanes assistant coach Tim Gleason brought the Stanley Cup to Michigan on Sunday, visiting youth hockey teams in Troy and his hometown of Clawson. Gleason, a former first-round pick in the 2001 NHL Draft who spent nine seasons as a player with the Hurricanes, allowed the young players to take photos with the trophy. He rejoined the Hurricanes organization as an assistant coach in 2021 after retiring as a player with the Washington Capitals in 2015.
