Golden Knights don't touch Clarence S. Campbell Bowl after winning Western Conference
The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday, earning the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl. Captain Mark Stone accepted the trophy from NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly but deliberately did not touch it, continuing a superstition established when the team won the conference in 2023 without touching the bowl and went on to win the Stanley Cup. The Golden Knights previously touched the bowl in their 2017-18 debut season before losing the Cup Final to the Washington Capitals.
