The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-4 in double overtime in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, with Shea Theodore scoring the winner at 5:38 of the second overtime when his shot banked off the end boards and past goalie Brandon Bussi. Mitch Marner scored the fastest hat trick in Stanley Cup Final history for Vegas, though the Golden Knights nearly squandered a four-goal lead after Carolina mounted a stunning four-goal rally in the third period. Vegas now leads the best-of-7 series 2-1, with Game 4 scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
