Golden Knights’ vision for success remains clear after hiring Craig as coach
The Vegas Golden Knights have made another coaching change after losing to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, hiring a new coach named Craig who has no NHL head coaching experience. General manager Kelly McCrimmon defended the bold move, noting that Vegas has reached the Stanley Cup Final three times in nine years (2018, 2023, 2026) with three different rosters, winning the Cup in 2023. Since joining the NHL in 2017-18, the Golden Knights have won 401 regular season games and 76 playoff games, more than any other team in that span.
