Golf club partially reopens after fire but faces big repair bill

Stourbridge Golf Club in England is partially reopening six holes to members on Saturday following a devastating fire on Racecourse Lane the previous Thursday. Club chairman Simon Markey confirmed that the remaining holes, hundreds of trees, 600 metres of hedgerow, and a storage building were destroyed in the blaze. Full restoration of the club is expected to cost more than £1 million.
