Golf: DP World Tour to refuse LIV players in 2027 season

The DP World Tour has announced that LIV Golf players who sign up for the rival circuit next season will not be permitted to compete as members of the European Tour in 2027, representing a significantly tougher stance than in recent years. The tour stated that players must 'make a choice' regarding where they play, with deadlines for both tours expected within the next five weeks. The decision has major implications for Ryder Cup eligibility, as only DP World Tour members can represent Europe in the competition.
