'Good business' for PGA Tour if LIV players return - McIlroy
Rory McIlroy has stated that reintegrating LIV Golf defectors into the PGA Tour would be 'good business' for the tour. His comments come after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced in April that it will withdraw its multibillion-dollar backing of LIV Golf at the end of the year, prompting LIV to announce a 'strategic evolution' and seek new financial investors. McIlroy, currently four shots off the lead at the Truist Championship after the second round, expressed doubt about LIV's ability to secure replacement funding.
