Government fires back against lawsuit to stop UFC Freedom 250 event at White House
The U.S. government filed a legal opposition to a lawsuit seeking to stop UFC Freedom 250, an MMA event scheduled at the White House on June 14 to coincide with President Donald Trump's 80th birthday. Attorneys representing the National Park Service and U.S. Department of the Interior targeted the two plaintiffs, Virginia residents Susan Douglas and Paul Romano, arguing their motion for a temporary restraining order involved an 'inexcusable' delay. The lawsuit was originally filed in federal court in Washington D.C. on June 6.
