Grand National 2027 horse previews: Grangeclare West

Grangeclare West, trained by Willie Mullins, is a leading contender for the 2027 Grand National at Aintree having finished third in the 2025 renewal at odds of 33/1, helping Mullins complete a clean sweep of the top three places behind winner Nick Rockett and runner-up I Am Maximus. However, the horse's 2026 campaign ended immediately when he unseated jockey Patrick Mullins at the very first fence. A potential 2027 entry would represent an attempt to make amends for that early exit.
