Great Britain were eliminated from the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in the quarter-finals, losing to Czechia in Shenzhen. Sonay Kartal fell to Marie Bouzkova 7-6(2) 4-6 6-4 in a match lasting nearly three hours, before Katie Boulter was beaten 6-2 7-6(3) by Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova. The defeat ended Anne Keothavong's side's bid to reach the semi-finals for the fourth time in five years.
