Greenwood signs with Fenerbahçe from Marseille

Mason Greenwood, 24, has signed for Fenerbahçe from Marseille on a four-year contract, with the Turkish club paying €39 million ($44.5m) for the former Manchester United forward. Greenwood, who scored 23 goals across all competitions for Marseille last season, chose Fenerbahçe over Atlético Madrid, whose higher offer of €45m was rejected after Greenwood failed to make contact for two days following their initial approach. The move makes Fenerbahçe Greenwood's third club in three years.
